Unique Focus
Our approach combines an entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on experimentation and design-led learning. Students are encouraged to test ideas early, build real prototypes, and engage with uncertainty as part of the learning process. This model supports venture creation, systems thinking, and collaboration across business, engineering, design, and liberal arts.
We place strong emphasis on translating ideas into action, whether through startups, social innovation, or applied research, while remaining accessible to students with diverse technical backgrounds.
Signature Courses
Our curriculum centers on experiential learning, anchored by Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME), a year-long course in which every first-year student launches and operates a real venture. This foundation is extended through advanced undergraduate and graduate electives focused on innovation, design thinking, and venture growth, along with experiential labs and studios that integrate prototyping, emerging technologies, and real-world challenges.
Collaboration Partners
We work closely with academic partners such as Olin College of Engineering and Wellesley College, as well as global university networks and innovation hubs. We established the Babson Collaborative, which has grown to a vibrant network of entrepreneurship educators and their institutions. We also have collaborations with networks including startups, nonprofits, and industry leaders across technology, biotech, consumer products, and social impact, alongside deep engagement with alumni founders, investors, and entrepreneurs-in-residence.
